The Well-Made Play!

The Hideout Theatre presents our latest student mainstage production, The Well-Made Play. Saturdays at 6pm in August, we will perform our improvised take on the modern drama. Think August: Osage County, Proof, The Humans, but married to the spontaneity and immediacy of improvised theatre.

“I’m excited to see a show that *feels* different from every other improv show I’ve seen,” says co-director Lindsey McGowen. “This show is patient and confident. It takes its time building up its tension, building up your emotional investment, and when it finally cuts loose, you’re right on the edge of your seat. You’re a giddy voyeur on the day […] when everything counts, and after which nothing can be the same.”

Join us at The Hideout Theatre Saturdays in August for this gripping, real, emotional, relatable, and heartfelt completely improvised show that has never happened before and will never happen again! Don’t miss a moment!
